The Chicago Palestine Film Festival invites you to attend the virtual screening of two short films: GAZA FOOTBULLET, directed by Gaza based filmmaker Iyad Alasttal and NIGHTMARE OF GAZA, by Farah Nabulsi.

GAZA FOOTBULLET

In June 2019, a team of amputee footballers from Gaza was welcomed to France for friendly meetings with the French football amputee team. Iyad Alasttal followed with his camera the Gazan team in its preparations in Gaza, and during its trips to Ajaccio, Aubagne, Gardanne, Annecy and Martigues, and thus made a documentary film on this tour, Gaza footbullet.

NIGHTMARE OF GAZA

Nightmare of Gaza is a haunting, experimental tale of a woman in the streets of Gaza surrounded by the devastation after the bombs have stopped. She has been helping others, but revelations mean it is she who now needs the help. The story of thousands of mothers in the small Gaza Strip, a territory that has been under siege since 2007.
