Dig through photojournalist Mahfouz Abu Turk’s memories and archives, where he thoroughly documented his experiences in Jerusalem and the West Bank from the First Intifada in 1987 throughout the next decade.

TAQI

2022, dir. Aleen Shoufani, 35 min.

The film explores the story of West Bank graffiti artist Taqi Spateen, who expresses his frustration towards the occupation, the checkpoints, and the Separation Wall through his paintings and personal life stories. Through his perspective is reflected the distress of a whole nation, the distress of the Palestinian people.
